ArcelorMittal at AMPM2024 in Pittsburgh

Conventional tool-steels have susceptibility to cold cracking in laser powder bed fusion, mainly due to thermal stress and brittleness in the metallurgy. ArcelorMittal is working in creating a recipe, which takes into account the material, process conditions and heat management with the aim of processing high carbon steels in a more optimum way.
