Additive Manufacturing in the innovation Day North American Automotive

Southfield, Michigan, hosted a few days ago Innovation Day for our North American Automotive customers.

It was an excellent opportunity to showcase ArcelorMittal's latest steel solutions and innovations, amid North American transition to electric mobility and decarbonization.

Additive Manufacturing was displayed as one axis and example of our focus on future disruptive manufacturing processes and how 3D printing can already contribute to this competitive industry, starting with flexibility and productivity gains with 3D printed tools for Hot Stamping, Plastic Injection and Die Casting.

Attendees were also able to see live our motorcycle chassis, designed in collaboration with Universidad Nebrija, that shows our capabilities in terms of design for Additive Manufacturing and optimized printing parameters to support customers in their engineering phase.

Thank you to all our customers who joined us!
